Comments from past graduates of the Traverse City Police Department Citizens Academy:
“all in all this was one of the most interesting things I have ever participated in. I never thought that there were so many officers so proud of what they did.”
“I was truly amazed with the credentials the presenters carry as well as their passion for the job they do. I have a new respect for the Police Department and am proud of the community service they provide. I was surprised that for so few, they do so much. Again, I am proud that you respect our community so well.”
“The depth of training, the educational background and the obvious dedication of the force was a pleasure for me to observe and experience”
“As a retired educator, I have been to numerous classes and in-services. I was impressed by the well-prepared sessions. Many of the sessions had visuals to make the session more meaningful. All the presenters were articulate, interesting, and dedicated to their field. Again the officers came in uniform demonstrating the loyalty to their profession. One thing that stood out was the respect officers had for one another.”
