During a major emergency, WTCM 103.5 FM and 580 AM are the designated Emergency Alert System representatives for North West Michigan including all of Grand Traverse County and the City of Traverse City.

If there is a major emergency or a Local State of Emergency is declared, important information will be provided by tuning radios to 103.5 FM or 580 A M.
