RESIDENTIAL SPRING CLEAN UP GUIDELINES

LOOSE LEAF PICK UP HAS BEEN COMPLETED FOR SPRING 2009

Trash Pick Up Schedule:

May 4 - May 8, 2009- All Residences East of Rose Street to East City Limits
May 11 - May 15, 2009- All Residences Between Union Street and Rose Street
May 18 - May 22, 2009- All Residences West of Union Street to West City Limits

RULES:

City Crews will begin at 7 AM Monday morning in the designated residential area.  Have everything ready by 7 AM Monday morning. CREWS WILL ONLY GO DOWN YOUR STREET ONE TIME. They will not return. If you miss the date indicated above, your items will not be picked up.

BRUSH - ALL brush must be neatly stacked. Large branches cannot exceed 4 inches in diameter, and CANNOT EXCEED AN 8' BY 4' PILE. Christmas trees are allowed. No logs, tree stumps, or shrub rootballs are allowed. Place in alley if exists, or behind curb or pavement on street, if no alley.

TRASH - place in alley, if available. Limited to 10 items only, not including brush and loose leaves. Furniture, box springs, couches, chairs, sinks, clean toilets, humidifiers and rolled sections of carpet are allowed. Boards are allowed, but nails must be bent or removed. Stack items neatly - NO oversized, jumbled piles will be picked up. Boards with exposed nails will be left behind.

BRUSH AND TRASH PICKUP START MAY 4, 2009 IN ALLEYS - THEY ARE TO BE KEPT IN SEPARATE PILES.

NO TIRES, concrete. NO construction material including drywall. NO APPLIANCES, no stoves, refrigerators, freezers, hot water heaters, dishwashers, dryers, furnaces.

NO PAINT. NO CHEMICALS. No weekly household garbage. No animal droppings.
